Senior Learning & Capability Consultant - 12 Month Contract

The opportunity & how you will make an impact. 

The Organisational Development (OD) & Culture team help shape the environment for our people and business to thrive.  In this role, you will partner with leaders to shape and deliver people strategies that build capability, strengthen culture and support organisational performance.

As an experienced learning and development specialist, you will manage the design and implementation of a wide range of culture and capability programs across the business including induction and transition, consulting, leadership, mentoring initiatives, talent programs, compliance and other professional programs.

This is a perfect opportunity for someone that enjoys working autonomously, working in consultation with our national People & Culture team to deliver a first-class organisational learning and culture experience.

• Shaping the future capability of Urbis by designing and delivering leadership, consulting, mentoring and organisational development programs that build high-performing people, teams and leaders.
• Driving meaningful workforce impact through end-to-end management of learning initiatives, partnering with stakeholders to deliver engaging, scalable and business-aligned development experiences.
• Future-proofing our organisation by translating emerging trends in leadership, technology and the future of work into innovative capability strategies that support growth, adaptability and organisational readiness.
• Influencing business performance and culture by partnering with leaders and subject matter experts to identify capability needs, deliver practical learning solutions and foster a culture of continuous learning, inclusion and development.
• Measuring and maximising learning effectiveness by leveraging data, evaluation insights and LMS reporting to enhance learner engagement, demonstrate impact and continuously improve capability outcomes across the business.

• Proven experience designing, facilitating and evaluating learning and development initiatives, with the ability to translate organisational needs into practical, engaging and business-focused solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a track record of partnering with leaders and subject matter experts to deliver high-impact people and capability outcomes.
• Demonstrated project and learning systems management experience, including LMS administration, reporting, data analysis and the successful delivery of multiple initiatives within agreed timeframes and budgets.
• A collaborative and growth mindset, to bring out the best in yourself and others while bringing new thinking to Urbis and our clients
• Passion for purpose-led work, and driving a positive legacy for our communities, clients and yourself
• Authenticity to foster respect, trust and advocacy in all your work interactions
• Confidence and decisiveness to drive high performance for yourself, others and our clients
• Innovation and creativity when solving complex problems
• A digitally curious mindset, that is keen to explore how technology can contribute to our experience and efficiency
• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Psychology, Organisational Development or a related discipline, with demonstrated experience in learning, leadership development and organisational capability programs. Hogan Assessment accreditation desirable.
