The opportunity & how you will make an impact.
As our Senior Bid Consultant, you will be supporting our business to pitch for and win work largely focussed on Government projects. This role will be critical in building and enhancing our systems and processes around bid and tender management, creating the frameworks for the business to achieve operation best practice, and ultimately improve working winning outcomes.
Working in close collaboration with Partners, Directors and broader BD team, you will be responsible for influencing work winning behaviours, project managing pitches from start to finish, ensuring high quality outputs, consistency and compliance.
As a Senior Bid Consultant, every day is different! You'll make an impact by:
- Coordinating and project managing strategic, cross-discipline opportunities alongside Partners, Directors, Associate Directors and the BD team
- Working to maintain and enhance current systems and processes that support Urbis' ability to win work through tenders and bids to ensure the bid management process is optimised, efficient and yielding the best outcomes
- Providing advice and coaching to the business in the improved development of bids, tenders and submissions to support capability uplift and improve win rates
- Identifying new and build upon existing tools and resources that enable the business to win work more efficiently, ensuring national consistency in approach, content optimisation and championing best practice
- Centrally managing national procurement panels including Government panel compliance and reporting responsibilities

- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a bids, tenders or a business development role within a professional services or corporate environment
- Strong project management and delivery skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise the competing demands of multiple assignments and/or projects within agreed timeframe
- Ability to communicate with clarity, confidence, influence
- Demonstrated ability to engage in cross-team communication and solution development to help inform outcomes and project delivery
- Knowledge of built environment sector will be highly regarded
- A collaborative mindset, to bring out the best in yourself and others while bringing new thinking to Urbis and our clients
