The Opportunity:
We are looking for an innovative Senior Consultant in Landscape Architecture to join our Perth office, as part of our national Design team.
Join our Landscape Architecture team and help shape the future of WA's urban spaces. We are seeking a Senior Consultant to contribute to the growth and development of our design offerings by delivering high-quality technical, production, and design input to the National Design team. Your role will involve demonstrating a broad understanding, passion, and emerging skills in landscape, built form, public realm design, and placemaking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and coordinating project delivery, including medium to larger projects. This includes managing resourcing, program, and fees, and addressing issues to ensure project budgets and deadlines are met.
- Demonstrate proficiency in landscape architecture and construction processes, contributing to multiple projects from concept to construction administration.
- Support consulting staff development through coaching, mentoring, and technical guidance.
- Build and maintain client relationships, generating repeat work and professional networks.
- Support or lead meetings, deliver strategic design strategies, and contribute to team building and social functions.
- Contribute to achieving commercial performance KPIs, including team revenue targets and personal fee budgets.
- Understand and communicate the value of other Business Units (BUs) to clients, facilitating cross-selling opportunities.
- Identify and engage in cross-disciplinary projects with colleagues from other disciplines and BUs.
About You:
- Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture.
- Demonstrated experience in a design practice and/or consultancy environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup/Rhino 3D/Lumion.
- Strong Word and Excel skills for contract specifications and costing estimates.
