The Opportunity:
Urbis has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Urban Planner with experience in greenfield planning to join our Planning team in Melbourne!
As a Senior Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality planning advice and solutions for greenfield projects. You will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful planning and development of new urban areas.
You will:
- Lead and manage greenfield planning projects from inception to completion.
- Provide expert advice on planning strategies, policies, and regulations.
- Conduct site assessments and prepare due diligence advice to clients.
- Prepare and present planning reports, proposals, and submissions.
- Engage with clients, government agencies, and community groups.
- Mentor and support junior team members.
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Urban Planning, Geography, or a related field.
- Experience in greenfield planning and development.
- Strong understanding of planning legislation and policy frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Passionate about creating sustainable and liveable communities.
