The Opportunity:
Are you passionate about marketing, brand and making a tangible impact in a city-shaping environment? Urbis is offering a unique opportunity to lead a specialist marketing function as our Senior Marketing Manager on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this exciting role, you'll partner with the Head of Brand, Marketing & Communications to bring our new brand strategy to life.
You'll take the lead on implementing our brand re-fresh program, developing high-impact integrated brand campaigns and partnerships, and evolving our marketing technology stack to improve brand understanding and experiences for our clients, people and the market.
You'll also work closely with our Senior leaders, Directors, People and Culture, and Business Development teams to collaborate on marketing plans and content to build our profile and reputation as a leading Urban Consultancy.
You will:
- Lead, mentor and develop the Marketing team, fostering a collaborative, high-performing and positive team culture across the broader Brand & Clients (B&C) function
- Support the Head of Brand, Marketing & Communications in delivering strategic brand and marketing initiatives aligned to company strategy and B&C business plan
- Develop and execute integrated brand and content marketing strategies that differentiate Urbis and Cistri, enhance brand awareness, and reflect our brand framework, refreshed tone of voice and visual identity
- Drive the development of sector-specific value propositions and lead key thought leadership campaigns in collaboration with the Senior Communications Manager and sector leaders
- Oversee multi-channel campaign planning and delivery, including digital, CRM, SEO/SEM, social media, paid media (ATL/BTL), websites and sponsorships and events
- Champion strong brand governance and brand culture across all internal and external touchpoints, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and holding stakeholders accountable
- Establish and refine marketing workflows, tools and processes to streamline delivery, improve ROI and build internal marketing capability
- Influence and educate stakeholders on the impact of strategic marketing and profiling, prioritising initiatives with measurable business outcomes
About you:
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in marketing, communications or a related discipline
- 7+ years' experience in strategic marketing and communications, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
- Experience leading teams and delivering integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns within a professional services or similar environment
- Proven track record in brand management, campaign execution, and stakeholder engagement at a senior level
- Confident influencing and collaborating with leaders to drive marketing strategies that deliver measurable impact
- Digitally savvy, commercially minded, and always looking for ways to innovate, improve processes, and build team capability
